Yoga has reduced the pain I suffer, lessened my reliance on painkillers, and kept me mobile. Since lockdown I have been having 121 Zoom Yoga sessions. Each session is tailored to fit my energy level, and the aches and pains I am suffering at the time. Sue also adapts the session as we move through it if I am showing any issues I hadn’t mentioned at the start, such as fatigue or breathing issues. I suffer with ME/CFS, as well as other conditions and before the pandemic was receiving a regular tailored massage from Sue, as well as attending a gentle Yoga class. I highly recommend her as both a massage therapist and yoga teacher. We have worked together to establish a massage and yoga combination that works for my body regarding the issues associated with Peripheral Neuropathy, Fibromyalgia, Asthma, Hypermobility, as well as ME/CFS. Reflexology used to be my favourite treatment, until I tried Sue’s Thai Foot Massage! HEAVENLY!  One day I was feeling like ‘meh’, I had a TFM and felt so much better afterwards. I now have one regularly.  G.

I booked in with Sue as I was in so much pain in my shoulders and neck, a desk job didn’t help.  I’d not had a Thai Massage before, so didn’t know what to expect.  Sue worked first on my shoulders and neck then my legs and back. Initially I wondered why, but as the treatment progressed I felt a release in my back up to my neck! I hadn’t realised the tension in my legs either.  Afterwards, I felt a lot lighter and able to stand upright again. Sue did say to rest and that the healing would continue. To my amazement, a couple of days later I’d forgotten about the pain I was in. I’ve re-booked!  Thanks Sue.  JH.

Sue and her weekly class have had a huge impact on me and my life. Initially I attended after suffering a back injury at work and was advised that I needed to build up my core muscles and try and align my back, a year later I am still attending and I am hooked!

Sues  latest knowledge and experience mean classes are always gentle and inspiring, with the soft flowing positions of the Dru yoga I never come away feeling achy or hurting, yet I know I have been challenged and stretched and my soul nurtured.  Physically I am much stronger, toned, improved posture and definitely more flexible. Sue has helped me ‘listen’ to my body, so I know when to push myself and when to step back and look after myself.

It didn’t dawn on me that there would also be emotional benefits as well as physical advantages. I am more relaxed and more confident, and feel I have dealt with some of life’s challenges over the year in a more positive way, using my inner strength gained from yoga.
